Ode to my Turtle (Toy-tle)

Ode to my Turtle (Toy-tle)

(a playful love poem)

Oh, how I love you,

How you slap me every time I open my eyes.

Oh, you little sassy toy!

How you are so innocent,

Yet you burn for power.

You talk like a child,

Yet you yell like a lion.

Oh, how you love baboons,

Yet you hate monkeys.

You love the water,

Yet You hate the shower.

Oh, how I love you!

I love how you play video games,

Yet you know how to not break your toes.

How you have little flippers,

Yet you can wield dual gaming controllers.

I love you, my turtle!

Who Am I?

Who Am I?

I lurk in mud.

I am four to eight inches long.

I am thin or thick,

Small or tall.

I am a fish with a pointed mouth.

I am blue with black smears.

I am not native to NH or VT.

I am a nice meal to birds.

My record was 19.3 inches.

I like to eat small fish the most.

I am the Black Crappie.
