There Was an Old Woman
(a thesaurus poem)
There twas an aged babushka
Who dwelled in a loafer.
She had so many seed,
She didn’t know what to do!
She gave them some puree
Without any grub,
And bopped them all soundly
And sent them to the couch!

My Hands
My Hands
I love them because I can lift very heavy things.
I use them for most things.
I can help people that need help.
If I did not have them, I would need help!
They were made by God Himself.

The Flight
Flying in an airplane was fun. Rhyder, Elias, and I were in my group. Everything looked tiny when we went in the air. We had radios. We were the second to last group.
On our flight, we saw a college, a track, and mines. I saw a guy on a roof!
We watched a jet take off. We had a picnic on a deck. We watched the other groups take off. We went to the control tower, and there were lots of windows.
Flying on Young Eagles Day was great!
Brown/Green Spring
Brown/Green Spring
I love spring’s way of just running out to play.
For I love to run,
To get out and play.
For it is good.
It is good for the smell of wood
And the birds chirping so lightly.
It feels like home.
Creep, crawl, sway, run,
Jump, pop, sing, chirp,
Run.
Life, sunny, funny and so green!
So nice and peaceful,
So warm,
Such a nice time!
